Merry Christmas Everyone!!! I made this for the OUAS challenge .
I wanted to get a guy one in for Hubby and one of his favorite things to do is duck hunt. That is him decked out in his camo garb! I don't mind doing these pics but I won't scrap the ones with their kills in. I do not even look at those. Anyway I mostly wanted to tell you about Clyde the dog in the pic. Scot (hubby), Craig, and Kevin all go duck hunting each year and they take Clyde with them. Well he is so obsessed with retrieving the ducks that as soon as the guns go off, whether or not they got a duck he is flying in the water. No matter if he had to jump on you to get there and dang if he doesn't bring them back every time. Kevin spent a lot of time training him and instead of leaving him in a crate in the truck he sleeps in the room with the guys!! I love his camo life vest also!!!
Anyway I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and thank you for your support during the year!!

Hello
and welcome!! Lisa here and I am sharing a DT card I made today for PaperHaus magazine. I was
tired of
Christmas themed cards so decided to do a winter one instead. I used
the "Snowfall" collection from Bo Bunny. I love these rich papers!
I used s MS punch and made my own stencil. To create the snowy look
around the card, I simply mixed regular white acrylic paint with some
texture gel.
Hope you enjoyed my card and thank you for taking a look.
Materials used:
Bo Bunny "Snowfall papers
Tim Holtz- Tattered floral die, handmade flower, Bo Bunny pearl for center

PaperHaus 12 Days of Christmas
Hello and welcome. Here is my inspiration for the 12 Days of Christmas for the blog hop at PaperHaus. Come on and join the fun. I used my Funtoolas December kit for this card. I did tearing for the back
ground, then just added gesso to give it that snowy feeling. I didn't
use any ink on this one and that was very hard to do. For the flower I
used the flowers that came in my Funtoolas kit, tore them apart and
dipped them in my melting pot to give them the glassy look and added
some glossy accents in the center and added gold beads. I did emboss the
Merry Christmas. Well that is it and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Hello and welcome...wow December all ready. Today I have 2 projects to share with you. My first project is a layout using my beautiful Funtoolas kit AND my DT project for The Paper Mixing Bowl following the recipe and the sketch. Come over and join us.
I used Funtoolas December kit for both of these projects. Truly a beautiful kit this month. I am also sad this will be my last month as a Design Team member for there will no longer be kits. Very sad news to me BUT the site will still be full of fun scrappy things to do!!
Thanks for stopping by. I truly appreciate it. I am wishing you all the best for the holidays. Be safe!

PaperHaus Magazine and Halo Handmade DT
Hi Peeps...hope all is well today. Lisa Duke here to share a tutorial on
how I put a layout together. This was a challenge for me to make and I
am glad to escape my box!! I made this for PaperHaus Magazine and Handmade Halo Design Team.I am also playing along at Berry71Bleu with this layout!
#: First I picked out the photos I wanted to use and I have been wanting to scrap this photo of my dgd for awhile.
Then I hunt through my paper stash and see which ones I like the best.
Then on this one I cut out the center to save on paper and maybe make a flower to match later.
On this background I decided to try an image transfer. I have never done one before. So I picked out and image I wanted to use and got out my Gloss Gel Medium. I didn't want the whole page so I painted my medium just on the image, giving it a pretty good coat, then placing it face down on my background. Now let it dry completely.
Spray image with water, I did a little more than misted it as you can see, let it soak for a minute, and dab the excess water of.
Then with the utmost care start rubbing lightly with your finger. I can't stress enough to do this very slowly until your image appears. You can fine tune it but if you rub to hard the image will come off. Let the image dry.
Here is how it turned out. For the rest of the background I used a zebra mask and gesso and some TA glimmer mist (Fully Purple).
Then it was really bright and I wanted to tone it down so I gave the whole page a wash of watered down gesso.
hen I still wasn't happy so I decided to add a little more texture with the paper you see in the photo. The I was finally done and ready to embellish!!!!
This is what I came up with. The resin flower in the middle of the film strip and the bird cage charm are from Handmade Halo, these are just 2 of the hundreds you can choose from!!!! Hope you enjoyed my tutorial...Have a fabulous weekend!!!
Thank you for visiting, I appreciate it very much. Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!

So Sweet--Handmade Halo DT project
Hello...and welcome. Here is a layout I made of my darling grand daughter on her first birthday!!! She is so cute! I made this for Handmade Halo. Corinne has some beautiful items in her store! I also made this for 3 other challenges, 1. Unique crafters challenge blog, and 2 Scrapbook.com. challenges. Trying to get a couple of birds with one stone kind of thing. Never did like that saying to much!
Here are some close ups.
The green you see is some gloss gel medium and some silk acrylic paint and I used a mask to get it on there.
Here you can see the beautiful bird cage charm from Handmade Halo and also the resin rose in the paper tear. The chipboard is from my store located to the right of my blog.
The large pink flower is handmade by me and the cute little green leaves are also from Handmade Halo. I hand stitched the swirl on and I also made the white flowers. Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate it!

Funtoolas Kit, November
Hello and welcome. Here are my DT projects for this beautiful Funtoolas November kit called. This kit is so full of beautiful papers and embellies I just loved working with it.
Here is a photo of my girl when she was a pup in her first snow. She still holds up her front leg like that to this day! So pop on over to Funtoolas and check out the kit. We also have some wonderful challenges going on also and even a swap!!! I made this for 3 challenges, 1 the OUAS challenge, sb.com pet challenge, and sb.com girls, girls, girls challenge.
I used a lot of gesso to give the page a snowy feel.
A close up of my flower cluster. I did use a couple of flowers from my own stash.
I made the rosette using the rosette die from Tim Holtz and the buttons were perfectly matched for this kit and I added a little gesso to them also.
Here is the gorgeous Prima bling that was in the kit. I did cut it in half to use the other side on the bottom side of the cluster.
My second project I made a thank you card to have on hand. Can never have to many of those!!!
I used some mists and ink and again some gesso. The flower is from the kit and it started out white but I wanted to match the card...You sure won't be disappointed with this kit, lots of ways to create your own beautiful projects!!! Thank you so much for stopping by, I truly appreciate it!!

PaperHaus Halloween
Hello there and welcome. Here is a DT project I made for PaperHaus I used some older
papers by Jenni Bowlin for this.
After the first layer I put some Tattered Angels "Pumpkin Spice" in with my gesso and dipped some bubble wrap in it and stamped. The next layer I added some shiny orange organza ribbon just for a little sheen. I then added a chipboard branch I painted black, then a layer of some lighter purplish paper which I added some Tim Holtz rock candy crackle paint to.
The cheese cloth is dyed black The fence is from Martha Stewart. The resin frame is from Handmade Halo. I made the flower using the tattered floral die. The leaves are made form the tattered leaves die which I then added molding paste colored with peeled paint reinker and scribed a leaf pattern into.

Handmade Halo DT project
Hello all!!! I have here today a project we made for a DT challenge at Handmade Halo . There are so many unique products Corinne has to choose from! the challenge was be whimsical and to alter a resin piece so I used my alcohol inks and paint on the rose. Then since I had the inks out I decided to paint the peacock also. I LOVE that peacock charm. You can find that in the store also. We were also suppose to use another handmade item from another so I took one of my handmade lace flowers and cut it in half to accent the rose.
I also inked and did a resist embossing for the background. I used the summer colored Tim Holtz inks. As always thank you for stopping by.

PaperHaus...another project. "Sweet Son"
Hello...here is another DT project for PaperHaus magazine!!! I used Pion papers for this and added some things that took me out of my comfort zone. Hop on over to PaperHaus...we have some wonderful inspiration everyday!!
in this next pic I used a zipper that I dyed and painted gesso on to stuff the title in. I really liked making this piece. The flower I made of lace and used one of my resin pieces you can find in my etsy store along with the cherry blossoms.
For the title I used wooden letters and dyed them and then added liquid pearls and of coarse some gesso!!
