Birthday card.

My baby turned 19!!! I can't believe it. Seems like yesterday my kids were little and now I have grandkids!!! Well I used the Vintage Faye kit from Swirlydoo's for this card. There were some scraps left over from a lo I did so this is what I did with them. Thanks so much for your visit and have a great week!!!!

1st Birthday!!

Hello!! Here is a pic of my grand daughter on her 1st birthday. She was so pleased to have that cake of her own that her Mommy made for her. I have lots of layers on this. I think this was one of the funnest layouts I have ever done. Her expression is just so cute. The sheer flowers are from prima and I just love those!! I made the tear bear, the card board is from a yogurt case! Thanks for stopping by I totally appreciate it! Have a wonderful weekend.

Beautiful Girl

Hello all!!! Happy Friday! Here is a layout I did with my August Swirlydoos kit called Poetry en Prose. This kit was very elegant and has gorgeous papers to work with. I love the colors in here....I usually stick to the same colors and this I ventured out and added a totally different color. I did border the pic with the lace that came in the kit and then put liquid pearls around it. Those blue beaded fern like leaves are awesome and I do have those in my etsy shop and in my Webstore along with other scrappy items. So if you have made it here I so appreciate it. The Color Room Card!!

Hello friends!!! First....I have a brand new grand daughter.!!! She was born on the 4th. I do not like to posts pics of my grandkids but you will see her in upcoming layouts!!! She is just precious and I just love her!!!
Ok this is my first attempt at trying the palette over at The Color Room and the sketch also. I loved trying the colors cuz I think I get into a rut of using the same colors. So I do like to change it up a bit and try different things. Well have a great week!!!

Hello and happy weekend!!! Just dropping off some cards I made this week. I seem to be on a card kick plus I like to keep my scraps down. I just got rid of some scraps that I had for years. Seem to be on a shabby chic kick also. I do not do much pastel colors and I have really grown to like the lighter colors. Anyway I am babbling!!! Thank you for stopping by!!!

Baby Shower card

Hello...here is a card I made for my DIL for her baby shower. My new dgd will make her debut on Aug. 4th!!!! I am so excited to meet her. I used up some of my scraps and the butterfly is from the Swirlydoo butterfly collection. LisaG always has butterflies for us that match the kit every month...soo cool!!! Well that is it for now.
